Caravan Hire - Air Tattoo

Event Dates: 19 - 21 July 2024

Tilshead Caravans can deliver any of our caravan hire fleet to the campsites and caravan sites around RAF Fairford for the 2024 Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT).

We would usually expect to deliver and fully site and set-up your hire caravan, ready for your arrival.

We can also offer awning hire including awning erection & dismantling services plus extra services such as picnic table & chairs. 

 

Costs

Caravan hire costs are for the event duration, including delivery to the event ready for your arrival and collection from the event campsites again on Monday after the event has ended.

You will need to book and pay separately (please see event websites) for campsite fees and entry tickets. Entry to the event is not provided with our caravan hire services.

 

Campsites

We can deliver to many caravan sites and campsites in the Kempsford/RAF Fairford area. The most popular sites we have experience in delivering to include:

Kempsford Camping

Kempsford Camping is a temporary campsite that opens just for the week of the Royal International Air Tattoo each year.
Situated only 200 yards away from the show's Blue Gate which is used for both FRIAT and public entry.

Fairford AirShow Camping
- Townsend Farm

A family run campsite for the Air Tattoo for and is open for all ages. It  is situated on Townsend Farm (GL7 4DY).
It is approximately 600 metres from the Show so is in easy walking distance.

Totterdown Hill Campsite

The campsite is located on a countryside hilltop overlooking the runway with many of the displays flying right overhead.
It is situated at GL7 4DG.

How to Book

1. Check out our caravan hire pages on this website to decide on the caravan which may suit you best.

2. Request your caravan booking online, call us on Tel. 01980 863636 or Email Us for more details and to check availability.

3. Provisionally reserve your caravan for 72 hours to give you time to contact your preferred campsite to check availability and book a campsite pitch.

4. Confirm your caravan hire booking with our usual £250.00 deposit and start planning who to support during the races!
