Used Motorhome Sales
Tilshead Caravans always have a
range of used motorhomes for sale throughout the year and these are
displayed at our Lopcombe site. We can usually offer a selection of
motorhome types and layouts and our
motorhome
sales list pages outline our current stock for you.
All motorhomes supplied by Tilshead Caravans will benefit from a
comprehensive warranty and are supplied fully serviced and prepared for
you. If you wish to purchase additional items such as awnings or cycle
racks (where not fitted) then we are able to undertake all such work in
our fully equipped
workshop before you take delivery of the vehicle or at any time in
the future.
We can offer a full
part-exchange service and will be happy to value most cars, caravans
and motorhomes for you on request.
New Motorhome
Sales
Tilshead Caravans are not
agents for any motorhome manufacturers and we regret we cannot therefore
offer you demonstration facilities for new motorhomes.
However, should you be interested in dealing with us, for instance where
we are able to offer you part-exchange facilities for your existing
vehicle, then we can offer a broker service for some motorhome
manufacturers which would allow an authorised dealer to supply the new
vehicle to you as the first owner, via us. This allows you to deal with
us with the knowledge that the vehicle you require is a UK supplied and
fully prepared motorhome with usual manufacturers warranty. For more details please do

Ex-Hire Sales
Tilshead Caravans have for many
years specialised in the
hire of
quality caravans
and motorhomes.
As we strive to provide the best possible vehicles for our hire
clients we aim to replace, when possible, all our vehicles aged
anywhere between six months and four years old. In order to do so
we have introduced a rolling replacement system for all caravans and
motorhomes on our fleet which means that most vehicles are available for purchase throughout the year at a discounted price.
Although some clients can initially be put off by the fact they are
ex-hire vehicles, in fact the condition of vehicles is comparable with
most privately owned motorhomes but with the added benefit that all our vehicles are fully
maintained with full service histories, they will not have
been immobile in a storage yard or driveway for six months
of the year and all come with a comprehensive warranty,
including manufacturers warranty where appropriate.
Our
motorhome sales list outlines the vehicles which can be available
for purchase from our fleet, but please be aware that not all models are
available for viewing at all times. If you are interested in a
particular model than we can advise when the vehicle will be available for viewing and can fully demonstrate the vehicle at a time convenient to you.
Part-exchange of cars, caravans or motorhomes
If you are wishing to
sell or
part-exchange your existing caravan or motorhome then we can
offer a full range of services including part-exchange, outright
purchase and commission only sales.
Finance
We offer competitive rates of
finance on all the vehicles we sell. If you have not decided how you
wish to pay for the purchase of your preferred vehicle, be it in the

Tax
Free Sales
Unusually for most used vehicles,
under current HM Customs & Revenue regulations some purchasers of our
ex-hire vehicles can purchase VAT free or reclaim VAT, saving you, the
purchaser, 17.5% on the value of the marked purchase price.

Business Customers
If you are VAT
registered and purchasing for business use then you will be
able to reclaim VAT @ 17.5% on the
purchase price of many of our motorhomes.
Personal Export from the
EU
(including export to the Channel Islands)
Clients purchasing
motorhomes for personal export from the EU (for VAT purposes) should be able to purchase many of our
motorhomes VAT free.
Purchases by or for disabled
customers (wheelchair or stretcher users)
Clients purchasing
motorhomes or caravans with adaptations and use
by disabled persons should be able
to purchase many of our motorhomes VAT free.
